FAQ
When will we get our photos?
You will receive an online gallery with all of your photos within 2-3 weeks (sometimes less, depending on the season and schedule.) You will then be able to download all the photos from your online gallery to share and order prints!
Can I use the photos for social media and marketing materials?
Your photos are yours to enjoy for personal use, including sharing on social media with family and friends and ordering prints. If you'd like them for marketing, advertising or business purposes there is an additional fee related to branding for commercial use.
What should I wear for my photo session?
While I don't offer personal styling services, I’m happy to share a few tips to help you choose outfits that will look great on camera!
Keep It Simple and Timeless
Neutral tones, earthy colors, and soft patterns photograph beautifully and tend to be timeless. Avoid clothing with large logos or distracting graphics.
Coordinate, Don’t Match
If you're planning a group or family session, aim for coordinating outfits instead of identical ones. Choose a color palette (like warm neutrals, cool blues, or fall tones), and let everyone express their style within it.
Dress for the Location and Season
Consider where the shoot will be—urban, desert, mountains, home—and choose outfits that make sense in that setting. Also, dress comfortably for the weather.
Add Texture and Layers
Knits, denim, linen, and other textured fabrics add visual interest. Layers like jackets, scarves, or accessories can elevate a simple look.
Wear What Makes You Feel Good
Confidence is key! Choose outfits you feel comfortable and yourself in—that will always show through in photos.

Do you travel for photoshoots?
Yes, up to 20 miles. Anything further would be an additional mileage fee.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes, a non-refundable deposit is required to secure your time and date of session/project. This will go toward your total session cost. The remaining balance is due on or before the session date.
What happens if I need to re-schedule?
Life happens! With advance notice, your deposit can be transferred to a new date within my availability. Same day cancellations or no shows will require a new deposit to re-book.
What happens if photographer cancels?
In the rare event that I must cancel due to an emergency, your deposit will be refunded or transferred to another date- this will be your choice.
